MultiProbe, moves to a larger facility

Santa Barbara, CA, USA (January 12, 2004) – MultiProbe is growing and has moved to larger offices at 433 East Canon Perdido Street. The new building allows for continued growth in MultiProbe’s workforce and provides space for increased manufacturing and R&D needs. With the recent recovery and steady growth in the nanotechnology industry, MultiProbe is now positioned to dominate the semiconductor nanoprobing market.

MultiProbe’s engineers are designing failure analysis tools to increase the performance of semiconductor devices. With more office space and new employees, MultiProbe is expanding its operations to fully support that growth. “Many companies, including MultiProbe, began in a garage but we’re ready to shed that image and show the semiconductor industry that we are a serious supplier. Our new offices and employees will make that a reality,” says Vice- President Casey Hare.

MultiProbe began supplying innovative probing products to the semiconductor industry three years ago and now its products are becoming vital to semiconductor manufacturers worldwide. The company foresees rapid growth in 2004, with more hiring anticipated. Andy Erickson, president of MultiProbe, is pleased with the strides the company has made and is looking forward to new developments in nanotechnology. “All the buzz these days is about nanotechnology, but few business writers identify the semiconductor manufacturers as the driving force within the industry. You don’t need to go looking for nanotechnology. Itʼs all around you in the electronics you use, and MultiProbe’s products allow those manufacturers to test their products. This is an exciting time to be in nanotechnology.”
